Great dr. appt. today! I'm no longer attached to tubes and can take a shower later tonight. I can also drive now. I think I'll drive somewhere right now and buy a big envelope cuz now that I'm Flat Stanley I can really go places! Send me a stamp and I'll come see you!  you All!

Pink Peggy 2: Finding Your Moxie

Marilyn reports that Peggy is doing very well, thank you all for your prayers and support. Here is the second abstract painting in the Pink Peggy series: Pink Peggy 2. It carries with it the same background story as I outlined in the post The Pink Blanket.

The inspiration behind my series is drawn from observing not singularly the breast cancer patient but also from beholding the amazing blanket of love that surrounds the woman who is coping with breast cancer. Whether or not you can be physically close to your loved one or if you send your support via prayer and kind works via group action, you are part of the moxie that lifts that patient up.

My hope is to, in some small way, capture that powerful loving synergy that evolves when human courage unites with a league of compassion and translate it into these abstract paintings. I hope that you can find something of yourself in the paintings.
